Advanced Energy Economy blog begins!

Graham Richard AEE CEOWelcome to the Advanced Energy Economy blog. This space on the AEE.net website is the new home of the weekly Policy and Government Affairs update – see Tom Plant’s state policy report posted here – as well our summary of the News of the Week. You will still be able to get those features through the AEE Weekly newsletter as well. We wouldn’t want you to miss them!

But this new blog will also give us a chance to bring you much more information and commentary on the advanced energy opportunity for the United States. Look to the AEE blog for advanced energy facts and stories from the field, like those you can find at AdvancedEnergyNOW. You’ll also read about AEE initiatives such as Public Utility Commission Engagement, the Positive Energy public awareness campaign, and Capitol Innovation program. You’ll get news on our policy efforts in California and tax reform activities in Washington, DC. And you’ll find fresh analysis of industry trends from AEE’s in-house experts.

We also want to make the AEE blog a platform for the broader advanced energy community. We plan to invite guest posts from our state partners on their efforts around the country, and offer guest post opportunities to the CEOs of our member companies. And then we want you to hear from you, so post your comments and questions.

Our aim is to make the AEE blog the place to go, and the place to be, for advanced energy.

We hope you will check in often. In fact, subscribe to the AEE blog, so you’ll never miss a post!
